AC High Voltage test Sets and High capacity testers are specially designed for testing cables, Generators, transformers and other high capacitive equipments as per National and International Standards. The transformers are designed and manufactured as per IS /IEC guidelines. Single / Multiple stage stepup transformers are utilized for achiving the desired voltage.
The test bench can handle voltage up to 600 kV, which is necessary for testing high-voltage transformers and ensuring their insulation is adequate for extreme conditions.
2. Current Range:
The current range is 0-1000 mA, allowing the system to measure and control the current that flows through the transformer during the test.
3. Single-Phase Operation:
The system operates on a 1-phase power supply, suitable for most laboratory and testing environments where single-phase power is commonly available.
4. Compliance Standards:
The HVT panel is compliant with IEC 60076, IS 2026, and IS 1180 standards, ensuring it meets international and national requirements for transformer testing, insulation testing, and high-voltage testing procedures.
Functional Components of the HVT Panel:
· Dimmer:
The auto dimmer provides precise control over the voltage, allowing operators to gradually increase voltage and adjust for the test conditions. This also includes a zero setting, ensuring that voltage is properly calibrated before starting the test.
· Indicating Lamps:
The panel is equipped with indicating lamps that provide clear, visual indicators of the status of the test, including voltage levels, operational status, and warnings if necessary.
· Measuring Instruments:
The test bench includes measuring instruments for monitoring key parameters during the test, such as voltage, current, and time. These measurements ensure the test is conducted according to the required specifications and safety standards.
· Timer:
The built-in timer is essential for controlling the duration of the test, which is crucial for verifying the transformer's ability to withstand high voltage over a specified period.
· Pushbuttons (PBs):
The system includes pushbuttons for easy operation, allowing the operator to control test functions, initiate testing sequences, and halt the test if necessary.
· mA Tripping Selection:
mA tripping selection is provided to safeguard against excessive current, automatically disconnecting the system in case of a fault condition, preventing potential damage to the transformer or test equipmen
